Michael Joseph Jason John synopsis – A romantic thriller that the explores the emotional aftermath of a one-night stand (and the inherent risks of hook-up culture) as a lonely man imagines what life might be like with a mysterious stranger, he picks up on the New York City subway.  Running time of 10 minutes.

Director, writer and actor, Scott T. Hinson, will join us for a post-screening Q & A and downtown reception.  Scott is a graduate of the UNCSA School of Drama.

Stranger by the Lake – Frank spends his summer days hopelessly searching for companionship at a popular cruising spot on the shores of a lake in rural France.  One day, he meets Michel, an attractive yet darkly mysterious man and falls blindly in love.  When a death occurs, Frank and Michel become the primary suspects, but they choose to ignore the dangers and instead continue to engage in their passionate and potentially lethal relationship.  It is an erotic thriller that tests the lengths and limits of sexual desire.  Running time of 97 minutes.
