OUT at the Movies will screen the 2021 documentary, INVISIBLE: GAY WOMEN IN SOUTHERN MUSIC on Saturday, November 13th, 7:00 PM at UNCSA’s ACE Theatre Complex, 1533 S. Main Street in Winston-Salem.

Deeply moving and triumphant, INVISIBLE gives center stage to the lesbian women who have long been hidden behind the curtain of the country music industry, all while working with big-name artists and making major contributions to the scene.

These talented women have written hits for country music legends including Barbara Mandrell, Johnny Cash, Charlie Pride, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and many more.

Featuring Bonnie Baker, Cidny Bullens, Dianne Davidson, Kye Fleming, Ruthie Foster, Mary Gauthier, Mary Ann Kennedy, Jess Leary, Pam Rose, Virginia Team, Cheryl Wheeler and Chely Wright.

Appearances by Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Pam Tillis, Rodney Crowell, Gretchen Peters and others. Screening to be immediately followed by a Q&A.

Tickets are $10.00 and may be purchased below or in the ACE Theatre Complex lobby, beginning at 6:15 PM on November 13th.
