In this fictional account of the Village People, fashion model, Samantha, helps her roommate, Jack, try to get a record deal. When Jack’s demo isn’t great, she searches New York City’s Greenwich Village for a group of musicians to sing the songs for the demo. She finds one made up of a police officer, a cowboy, a construction worker, a soldier an Indian and a biker. The film details their rise to fame from New York to a climactic concert in San Francisco.
