Tools for Emerging Filmmakers

OUT at the Movies launched its educational program in 2024 with a festival workshop focused on guidance for first-time or emerging filmmakers. The panel and resulting learning tool guides emerging artists along a framework to create short films on a micro-budget.

2024 Festival Workshop Panel Discussion

Our inaugural workshop and panel discussion was framed by a screening of our 2023 EAFG winning film production, “Order For Ben”, and covered approaches to pre-production, story ideation, production, and post production.
