Join us on Saturday, July 18th (rain date of July 25th) at SECCA, 750 Marguerite Drive in Winston-Salem, for a lake side screening of THE BIRDCAGE. The grounds will open at 7:30 PM, and the movie will begin at dusk.

In this remake of the classic French farce, “La Cage aux Folles,” engaged couple, Val Goldman (Dan Futterman) and Barbara Keeley (Calista Flockhart), shakily introduce their future in-laws. Val’s father, Armand (Robin Williams), a Miami drag club owner, pretends to be straight and attempts to hide his relationship with Albert (Nathan Lane), his life partner and the club’s flamboyant star attraction, so as to please Barbara’s father, controversial Republican Sen. Kevin Keeley (Gene Hackman).

In order to maintain appropriate social distancing, we are selling a limited number of ground spaces for single guests and spaces for groups of two or three. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. SECCA will be selling beer and wine.

Tickets are $10.00 for single guests, and $20.00 for groups of two or three. All seating is general admission. In the case of inclement weather, information will be posted on our website by 2:00 PM on July 18th, and guests can call 336.918.0902 for the latest information.

This evening brought to you by Karen Perry & A Space For Grace℠, offering private Executive Life Coaching Services, and visionary of Lines of Love and Unity to Celebrate Beauty in Diversity.
