September 24th – 26th, 2021

The 2021 OUT at the Movies International Film Fest is set for September 24th – 26th! All of our movies will screen at the ACE Theatre Complex on the campus of the University of NC School of Arts, 1533 S. Main Street in Winston-Salem. We will screen two films, the evening of September 24th, on September 25th, movies will start at 11:45 AM and end around 9:00 PM, and on September 26th, we will kick things off at 12:00 PM and end at approximately 9:00 PM.

Masks and social distancing will be required inside all UNCSA theatres and lobbies, as well as proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a recent (within 72 hours) negative COVID-19 PCR test.

Our September 24th and 25th, post-screening parties will take place at the Ramkat’s Gas Hill Drinking Room, 170 W. 9th Street in downtown Winston-Salem. On September 25th, Randy “RJ” Jones (cowboy from the Village People) will perform his hits, including “Go West”, “In the Navy”, “Macho Man” and “Y.M.C.A.”. He will be joined on stage by male entertainers in the roles of a Native American, construction worker, police officer and biker.

Our Sunday, September 26th awards party will take place at The Vintage Sofa Bar, 1001 Burke Street in downtown Winston-Salem.  We will announce our jury award winners that evening.  Our 2021 audience award winners will be announced after online viewing and voting wraps up on September 29th.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test will be required of ALL festival guests, audience members, party attendees, performers and volunteers.

All festival movies will be available for in-person and online viewing.
